Heatilator is proud to announce the availability of the Novus Evolution the first modern style gas fireplace to join the popular Novus Series of fireplaces.

Minimalistic styling, contemporary lines and flexibility have popularized the multitude of modern fireplaces available to homeowners today. The Novus Evolution features all those things, but at a price that is appealing to dollar-conscious homeowners.

The Evolution is on-trend, featuring fire and ice technology. The logs and grate have been replaced with glass crystals that cover the burner system, creating the illusion that the fire is rising from a bed of ice. The firebox illuminates when the flames reflect on the porcelain interior walls, creating a mirror-like effect. There are no louvers, no smoke shield and no exposed screws this modern style fireplace is sleek and affordable.

Often modern style fireplaces are considered a luxury item and priced accordingly, said Kathy Repp, Heatilator brand manager. However, the Novus Evolution is a modern fireplace that is priced to accommodate even first-time home buyers budgets.

The Evolution has a control feature that allows homeowners the ability to easily adjust the flames and heat to desired levels (50 percent turn down rate). The refractory and controls come standard and are included in the base price. And the homeowner can choose from several options for the fireplaces front.

The Novus Evolution proudly carries the proven lineage of the Heatilator Novus family of fireplaces, which in 2008 earned a Consumer Digest Best Buy. The Novus Series of Heatilator fireplaces feature the same framing and venting requirements. Therefore, the fireplace can be framed early in the construction process, giving the homeowner more time to decide on a specific style. Novus Series styles range from traditional to high efficiency to modern, so the choices are many.

The Evolution features direct vent gas technology, maintaining indoor air quality by expelling 100 percent of the fireplaces combustion exhaust, moisture and odors outside the home. Its sealed combustion system keeps by-products, such as carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide and excess moisture from entering the home. Direct vent gas technology also helps builders earn green building points. It is the preferred technology in every green building program, including the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Green Home Building Standards, U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED for Homes and ENERGY STARs Indoor Air Package. It is also an American Lung Association Midwest Health House program Clean Air Choice.

The Evolution is on display at the International Builders Show in booth #C5643. For product images and additional information, visit www.fireplaces.com/profitsolutions.com, Media Kits.
